Adding Email Account To Outlook

Objective: Learn how to add E-Mail account to Outlook

Step 1: Open Outlook

Double Click Outlook
Open MS Outlook

Step 2: Open Tools

  • Click on Tools
  • Click on Account Settings…

 

Step 3: Open New
Click New

Step 4: Choose E-Mail Service

  • You will need to know if your email account is: Microsoft exchange, Pop 3, IMAP, HTTP or Other
  • Choose one
  • Click Next

Step 5: Auto Account Setup

  • Fill in our name
  • Fill in your email address
  • Fill in your password for your email address twice
  • Click Next

Step 6: Online Search for server
You will see this screen as it searches for your server settings

Step 7: Congratulations!
Once established it will log into server and send a test email to you

  • If all three are checked with green check mark
  • Click finish

Step 8: Finished
Your email account will appear highlighted (where red circle is)

  • Click closed
